The Most Powerful Ford Taurus

Taurus has been a benchmark for Ford’s family sedan for more than two decades. So now it is time to return the powerful Taurus nameplate. The 2009 Ford Taurus model have gone into a significant styling facelift update and power upgrade. This vehicle was first introduced as a redesigned Ford 500. The 2008 Taurus is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, available in 4 trims, ranging from the SEL FWD to the Limited AWD.
“The SEL FWD is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 263-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. The Limited AWD is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 263-horsepower engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.”
This new model has improved its safety with some structural improvements and an AdvanceTrac stability control system. It now has its functional voice command, with SYNC, an integrated, voice-activated communication and media system. SYNC allows you to access your music collection by genre, album, artist or song title and operate your Bluetooth phone and the premium stereo system is had been well improved.
This car looks decent as ever. But I understand the hate of some reviews. When the Taurus was first released, it was way ahead of the competition in every way including styling. But not anymore since it has been successful in the past couple of decades. This new model has improved well in its interior instead.
